This article is way too good to pass up. Great insight into the Founding Fathers as well as politics as a whole. I can’t help but think of the nobility of the arguments as I read this, as opposed to what we argue about today. One thing that does come out of this is the problem of factions (political parties) as opposed to what is best for the nation as a whole. Washington was more than the first President…truly he was a visionary.  He also suffered as anyone in a leadership position suffers…slings and arrows of those who think they know better.
